Girl’s Night Out April 16th at 5pm-10pm Free studio fees when you paint with your girlfriends! This is a fun evening out for you and your girlfriends to enjoy spending time together and enjoy some creative time.

Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony at Gallery Glendale

April 15th 6-9pm  Meet talented artists as they present original artwork at Gallery Glendale at Westgate. Appetizers and refreshments will be served by Apollo High School Culinary students

Live Music at Westgate

April 15th 6:30-9:30pm The Caribbean Cruisers are a select group of musicians specializing in the music of the Caribbean area. These styles include Calypso, Junkanoo, Soca, Latin, Reggae and Contemporary Jazz. The band’s repertoire includes traditional Caribbean favorites from the various islands, jazz set in Latin and other tropical styles and popular American tunes arranged in Caribbean rhythmic styles.

April 16th 6:30-9:30pm Ghandi’s Garage Comparisons to Steely Dan, Don Henley, Bryan Adams and Sting have been mentioned. Drummer Daniel Villanueva lays down a firm & steady groove for Bassist Al Mora to punctuate. Guitarists Michael and Angel Villanueva fill the mid and upper register with superb chords, as Michael’s catchy and sophisticated melodies are sung with passion.

POPnology takes us from fantasy to reality – the driverless car, gaming stations and tomorrow’s toys, robots, drones, 3D printers – and so much more! 

POPnology includes the Hoverboard from Back To the Future II, HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mars Rover from NASA, Oculus Rift,Autopia car from Disney™’s Tomorrowland and so much more!

Saturday, April 15th at 1PM-3PM – Hear the story, Fran’s Flower, to learn more about how plants grow. You may then explore ecosystems and photosynthesis while planting seeds to take home!

Desert Botanical Gardens

Butterfly Walks

MARCH 12th – APRIL 16th at 9:30AM- Learn more about the butterflies in the Garden. Go on a butterfly walk with a naturalist, where you will learn about creating your own butterfly garden, butterfly-friendly plants and hunt for caterpillars. The walk is limited to 25 people and meets in the Ottosen Entry Garden.
