Hello my looooves! I was the lucky recipient of a lovely makeover from Trish at Bloom Salon.

As a mom who is still in the postpartum hair phase, this was such a huge gift for me. I am truly grateful. When asked about the last time I had colored/ cut my hair, I was kind of embarrassed. My last time in a salon was when I was 6 months pregnant. My daughter is now 6 months old. LOL.
Here is my before photo.
As you can see, my hair was super blunt on the ends and I did not love that look. My hair is very thick and coarse… and I have way too much of it. Often, I pull it in a bun, even after styling, because its just too heavy.
To say my hair needed work was a massive understatement.
Trish and I chatted for a while about my hair and also about my lifestyle. Confessing I’m not the best at keeping up with my hair, and I will NOT be back in a salon in 6 weeks, she styled my hair accordingly. I am super grateful she took the time to learn about me and what I love.
Trish took a few inches off of my length, thinned my hair out and blended the ends to ensure that, however I style it, it will lay beautifully. The color included a grey cover up (yes, a massive amount of grey CAN happen at 30) with a root color that matches my natural color: a rich-chocolatey-brown color. The blonde portion of my hair is now a gorgeous, dusty, rose-gold. I AM IN LOVE!
