Have a Patriotic Playdate!

School’s out, summer’s here, and it’s red, white and blue season! With Memorial Day in the past and Independence Day quickly approaching, I thought a fun and easy Patriotic Playdate would be a great way to get our favorite friends together and celebrate our country.

Served on red kabob sticks (Hobby Lobby) decorated with star foam stickers (Hobby Lobby) were Mini Corn Dog and Tater Tot “Firecrackers.” What kid doesn’t like to eat with a stick?

When it’s over 100 degrees outside something refreshing is an absolute must! Pour some red and blue colored drinks into a mason jar dispenser and you’ve got “Patriotic Punch!”

The star of the menu was dessert. The night before, I whipped up red, white and blue mini pudding pies. The kids devoured these tasty treats.

5-ingredient Patriotic Mini Pies

  • 1 pkg graham cracker mini pie crusts (6 count)
  • 1 3.3 oz package White Chocolate JELL-O instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Fresh Blueberries

Whisk milk and pudding mix in medium bowl for 2 minutes. Pour into mini pie crusts. Chill in refrigerator for 10 minutes or until set. Top with fruit.
