DIY Children’s Art Caddy

We have a small play area in our loft where our kids have a table and we store some games and puzzles there as well. I picked up this utensil caddy last Summer at Target on super clearance for $3.99! I decided to turn it into a children’s art caddy.

I love that it has a handle on it, it makes it really easy to bring it from upstairs to downstairs if the kids want to color at the kitchen table.

I cleaned it all up and dried it off before apply a vinyl to it that I picked up from Etsy. There’s  lots of great options there, just search and you’ll find tons. I chose this gold arrow looking one. Followed the application directions that it came with.

I filled the empty compartments with crayons and markers. And the bigger portion is perfect for holding coloring books, stickers and these chalkboard slates my Mom gave me.

So go grab yourself one of these at you local Target or Wal-Mart and you’ve got yourself a really cute and easy way to corral your kiddos art supplies!
