WVMB_AZ resturant weekOK, moms, we all know that going out on a date night these days can prove to be pretty pricey. Especially true if you want to check out one of our amazing restaurant options see in the valley. Thank goodness the Arizona Restaurant Association is here, offering Fall Restaurant Week! Fall Restaurant Week is coming up from September 16-25 and I was given a chance to sample just a couple of the amazing dishes being offered at a few of the participating restaurants.

az resturant week 1One of our stops was at T. Cooks at the Royal Palms, where we tried out small sampling of their main dishes being offered during restaurant week.

During Fall ARW, a wide variety of participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix-fixe menu for just $33 or $44 per person, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity unless otherwise noted. This is a great chance for food lovers to check out restaurants they may not normally venture out to, and taste delicious food options. There are dozens of restaurants participating throughout metro Phoenix, not just in the West Valley. Why not make date night, a night out with the girls or just a night out by yourself an adventure?

Here is a list of some of the participating restaurants (and more are being added all the time, so just check out for the most updated list)

One of my favorite dishes during the evening was this Roasted Acorn Sqush Soup with house made cinnamon marshmallows and candied pecans from the Cafe ZuZu at the Hotel Valley Ho. Subtle and perfect in just about every bite, made me really ready for fall flavors for sure!

And of course, you wouldn’t want to forget the dessert! All of the restaurant prix fix menu options are three-course meals, so dessert choices are a plenty! Scope out your options online, and see what delicate flavors fancy your taste buds! For our preview trip, we were treated to Coup des Tartes Creme Brûlée! Ah-ma-zing!

Just get out and try some of what the valley has to offer when it comes to wonderful food, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Try something new, get out and enjoy the valley- no matter where you go.
