Have you been to the Momma’s Organic Market yet? It’s West Valley’s very own farmers market and it’s a great family friendly outing! The market is open from 9am – 2pm every Saturday through the end of April. You can shop for local honey, grass fed beef, fresh produce and handmade items. There are typically food trucks, a bounce house and other entertainment for all ages. The expo days, which happen monthly, are especially fun to attend! The next expo day is on March 21st and it’ll be all about pets.
This past Saturday, the West Valley Moms Blog had a booth at the market during the Baby & Kid Expo and CraftProjectIdeas.com sponsored make & take crafts for the children that stopped by. The kids had a blast painting and making sticker collages and we enjoyed meeting new West Valley Moms! We just love the plaster magnet sets and plaster figurines from CraftProjectIdeas.com, hours of fun!
From handmade dolls to photo opts with princesses, there were so many great vendors at the market! We might have done a little shopping of our own! That cherry bread was delicious! The Momma’s Market also coordinates a weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), where you can purchase a bag full of fresh produce straight from local farms at a great price. Stop by the info desk at the market for more information.
