Lucky Cookies St. Patty’s Day Kids Activity on this St. Patty’s day?

Yes please! I decided that the kid and I should do a fun + easy craft for the holiday. I was thinking that cereal that’s OH SO magically delicious and maybe some gold coins (golden cream filled cookies).  This activity is so simple which makes it SO PREFECT for working with the little Leprechauns.

Project Items::

  • Lucky Charm Marshmallow Cereal (tell your kids not to blame me that the rest of the box won’t be as tasty due to the lack of charms…hehe!)
  • Golden Double Stuff Oreo Cookies
  • Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting

Charm Cookie Instructions::

Spread frosting on the top of the cookie. Added a second cookie on top. Added frosting on the side and then put as many marshmallow charms as we could get on there. Let chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Four Leaf Clover Cookie Instructions::

Spread frosting on the side of the cookie. Crush Irish top hat marshmallows. Roll frosted cookie side throughout the crushed marshmallows. Let chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

I will say that the Four Leaf Clover Cookie was very tasty and not too rich. The stacked Charm Cookie version was a little much…but I STILL  ate them both. Haha! I would recommend this project and I’m sure we will do it again since the level of difficulty was low. Good luck + enjoy!
