As some of you may have read we recently announced that we are planning on bringing you more printable and DIY posts. Because HEY who doesn’t love that kind of stuff?! And really with having littles it kinda comes with the territory.
Today we have an easy but FAB DIY project for you!
So get ready to take our Chalk Paint Bud Vase Tutorial.
I am always looking for ways to decorate my space at a lower cost. One way to drastically lower the cost of home decor is to make it yourself. And thus I have put together a cute and crafty post for you!
First up, the project items!
- Sand Paper
- Faux Flower
- Wooden Bud Vase (We Selected A Geometric Style)
- Chalkpaint Brush
- Hot Glue
- Hot Glue Gun
Find your bud vase. I found mine at Michael’s. Clean off the bud base. Apply 1-2 coats of chalk paint. SIDE NOTE:: We recommend using a chalk paint brush. We purchased our from Audrey’s.
Once the paint has dried use your sand paper to LIGHTLY distress the edges of the vase to give your bud vase more dimension.
Use your hot glue to secure the faux flower of your choice to the bud vase. I also purchased my faux flowers from Michael’s.
Voila! 3 Steps and you are all set to use your new accessory to decorate your home. I always use mine when taking photos for social media to make my images even more fabulous!
