Independence Day is next week. I get so excited for all the festivities! Parades, sparklers, and wearing lots of red, white and blue! Today I am sharing 3 tips on how to look stylish for your upcoming Fourth of July party.

Step 1: Pick a piece from your closet (or if you are like me, the one you purchased just to wear for this holiday) and make it your focal point. Build around that. With my Hello Tee, I paired it with distressed jeans and white tennies. Then added red accessories like the sunglasses and red lips.

Step 2: Don’t be afraid to color block. I sometimes feel this holiday is the exception. I wore red shorts and a stars printed chambray in the outfit below. I pulled this outfit together with a busy printed shoe.  Don’t be afraid of wearing the bold colors, embrace it!

Step 3: It’s okay to stray from the traditional colors. My skirt is a coral color, but pairing it with my navy and grey baseball tee and white converse, it looks like I’m ready for a fun Fourth of July block party! Also, never be timid to wear a cute tennie with a skirt to make it more casual. It’s one of my favorite things to do!

I hope that these tips will help you pick out the perfect outfit this Fourth of July and help you feel more confident and stylish! Even though I love sporting these colors, not EVERYTHING on your has to be red, white and blue. Throw a accent color in like gold or silver. It can be with your necklace or clutch. I know you will look fabulous!

I can’t wait to sport my red, white and blue outfit and show my American Pride though my fashion!
