Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. With family and friends in town, cooking, getting guest rooms ready and all the other activities going on. Sometimes the table can get put on the back burner. If you’re out of time and you find yourself with a pretty uninviting table, use these three ideas to brighten up the mood and give your guest a welcoming table to sit at.
Simple and Symmetric
If you have some pumpkins lying around your home, take three of them and line them up on the table. Break them up using small pots of greenery like these boxwoods. Add a few candles around to add to the mood!
Candle and Wreath
For the next centerpiece you can use any extra fall themed wreaths that you may have and place it in the middle of your table. Add a glass vase with a candle that coordinates with your linen and other table pieces. You can use just one or several for a more dramatic look! For more depth add beans or floating cranberries to the vase!
Gather and Collect
This last idea is very simple. Use the items you have around your house at various heights to make an interesting centerpiece. Use cake plates and bowls and fill them up with pumpkins, pine cones and other fall items for a fresh centerpiece.
